Hi, this is Joe Reed with Home Run Solutions. Today I’d like to talk to you a little bit about assessing your current space in regard to a prospective kitchen or bathroom remodel. One of the first things you’re going to want to do is create a list of pros and cons – things about your existing kitchen say, that you absolutely can’t stand anymore, things that don’t function, and things that have to go.

On the other side of that list, it’s more of a wish list. Things that you want to have, and things that you absolutely have to have. Also, ask yourself some of these questions about function. How many people are typically working in the kitchen to create a meal? If it’s a bathroom, how many people are getting ready in the bathroom each morning?

You want to be as detailed as you can on those lists. What it’s going to do is help to have that in place before you call a contractor in to estimate the project. If you’d like a little help with that, we’ve created some of those checklists within our e-book that’s free for download on our website. We call the e-book, ‘How to Hire a Contractor Without Contracting an Ulcer‘. It’s available, like I said, for a free download at our website, homerunsolutions.net. Thank you and have a great day!
