Our History in Snohomish
Snohomish’s antique district survives because the buildings downtown were built solid enough to be worth keeping for a hundred years. Nobody tore them down and started over every time styles changed. Someone kept fixing the foundations, the roofs, and the storefronts instead, and that patience is why the district still draws visitors today.
Katie and Jacob Thompson brought that same respect for lasting work into Home Run Design + Remodel, opening the company together in 2006. Husband and wife, the two of them have spent nearly twenty years since proving that design-build remodeling can hold up as well as those old storefronts along First Street.
We hold a Snohomish remodel to that same standard instead of chasing a trendy look that needs redoing in five years. We design around the character an older home already has and build with materials and methods meant to age well. That same durability is what keeps the shops near Cady Park worth a Saturday walk downtown, season after season.
