Our Reputation:

How long has Home Run Solutions been in business?

We have been proudly serving the Puget Sound Region since 2006.

Does Home Run Solutions play by the rules?

Yes! We are licensed as a General Contractor in good standing with Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. We are Bonded, Insured, and pay into Workers Compensation. It is important that you know the difference between a General Contractor and a Specialty Contractor. One big difference is that a General Contractor can legally hire subcontractors (i.e plumbers or electricians) to work in your home. General Contractors also carry more liability insurance which is important when it comes to protecting your family and home.

Do you prescreen new employees?

Yes! Home Run Solutions uses procedures such as E-Verify. We also have a strict written policy for job-site behavior.

Does Home Run Solutions hire actual employees or do you outsource your workers?

Our carpenters and craftsmen are hired employees. We pay workers compensation on our employees and have a strict conduct policy in place. We subcontract licensed specialty tradesmen such as plumbers, electricians, & HVAC technicians.

Can we get a list of your suppliers?

Yes we can provide a list of our suppliers. It is important to check for yourself that your contractor pays their bills. We do!

Do you have any references I can contact?

We do! In fact if you would like to check our references please contact us and we’d be happy to provide you with more than a dozen contacts from recent projects. To see what our client’s have to say, put your mind at ease and read for yourself in our Testimonials.

Does Home Run Solutions see value in professional association memberships?

Yes! Being members of the following associations allows us an outstanding opportunity to stay involved in our Community and stay current in the Remodeling Industry:

  1. Masters Builders Association of King & Snohomish Counties (MBA)
  2. National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA)
  3. National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)
  4. National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)
  5. EPA, Lead-Safe Certified http://www.commerce.wa.gov/building-infrastructure/housing/lead-based-paint/

Our Agreement with You:

We’ve heard that contractors give a price that ends up being a fraction of the actual cost, just to get the job. Is that gonna happen to me?

Not the case with Home Run Solutions. We offer fixed price proposals with a price guarantee and clearly spell out all price contingencies. We take pride in our estimating and communication skills, something that sets us apart from our competitors.

How do we know that our project will be finished on time?

Home Run Solutions gives each project an estimated start and finish date. More than that though, we provide you with a step-by-step detail of the work that will take place in your home (complete with material specifications) and a payment schedule that is tied to project milestones. We get it right because we have the experience to plan and execute your remodel.

Can Homeowners participate in the project?

Yes, under some circumstances the homeowner will be allowed to do portions of the project themselves. This decision will be thoroughly discussed during the design phase and all homeowner work will be clearly stated in the contract. We do, however, reserve the right to refuse to to allow homeowners this opportunity if deemed necessary.

How many quotes should we get for our renovation?

The long standing rule of thumb has been to get at least 3. This can be a good strategy if you are shopping solely on price with new contractors with whom you are calling blindly out of the phone book. We believe that if homeowners trust their instincts and like how a contractor listens to their ideas, communicates clearly, and displays the desired qualities they are seeking then one estimate may be all that is needed to find their general contractor to build their dream project. Referrals from friends and family are always the best strategy to find someone who you can trust.

Your Project Needs:

Will my project require a permit?

Not always, but we will be able to accurately answer that question during the initial meetings. We will make you aware of all that is required to stay compliant and which city, county, or state office has jurisdiction for your project.

Do you offer in-house design services?

Yes! We have the technology to provide you with timely 3D renderings that show you what your project will look like when completed. See for yourself if you can tell the difference between the 3D rendering and a recently completed kitchen: 3D vs. Actual Kitchen

Is my house gonna be filthy and unsafe for my family to live in during the renovation?

We take pride in our ability to keep your home as clean as possible during your remodel. We have families of our own and know how important it is to keep your home safe during the work day and once we’ve left for the night. We have a written daily cleanup schedule that all employees follow and Dust Control Systems that eliminate up 90% of airborne dust.

Will I have the use of my kitchen during the remodel?

Yes, we will do our best to keep your kitchen functioning with a concept we provide at no cost to you called "The TempKi" (aka Temporary Kitchen).

Am I gonna have a chance to go over things, in-person, during the project?

Absolutely, we offer weekly walk-through’s on each project we do. We need to know that you are happy with the progress and you will most certainly have questions on what’s next. You will always know who your lead carpenter is and have a person that you can come to at anytime with questions.

Do you answer your phone?

This one seems like an obvious one to us but we list it here because so many of our clients are blown away by the fact that we are easy to reach. We know how important it is to you that we answer your phone call or email in a responsible amount of time. As our company has grown we have implemented a firm policy to return all morning calls by 1PM and all afternoon calls by 6PM. We respond to all client emails in the same day. See for yourself
